Officials at the Indian embassy in Tehran have met with Indian troops stationed in Iran’s British oil tanker Stona Impero. They met on Thursday (July 25th) in Bandar Abbas, the central city of Iran’s southern Hormuzgan province.
The meeting was attended by the Embassy officials as well as the Indian Consulate of Bandar Abbas.
Since the arrest of the British tanker, Iran has been claiming that all officers and employees of the tanker are healthy and safe. All of them spoke on the telephone with their families.
The Iranian Islamic Revolutionary Guard Force (IRGC) detained Stena Impero on July 8 for violating international law from the Hormuz system in the Persian Gulf.
