A pair of sporting goods company Nike’s old shoes have been sold for $ 5,900, or $ 9.5m.
The pair of designs by Bill Boorman, co-founder of sportswear giant Nike, were recently auctioned and sold at record prices.
From the shoes that Nike had previously auctioned, this pair of shoes sold for almost three times the price.
Canadian collector Miles Nadal has purchased a pair of shoes at record prices. He also bought the remaining 8 pairs of shoes at auction.
Art house Sotheby’s, a New York-based auction company, makes these shoes at auction. “Bohrman used iron imprints on the underside of his shoe,” said Noah Ounce, head of global e-commerce at the company.
