An application will be made to the Securities and Exchange Commission for legal action, listing the entrepreneurial directors who have gone on sale without the permission of the authorities.

DSE Director General Minhaj Mann said this at a press conference on Wednesday (May 27th) at the Dhaka Stock Exchange.

He said that a committee consisting of Dhaka and Chittagong Stock Exchange, DSE Brokers Association and Merchant Bank Association has been constituted to take forward the existing reforms of the SEC to strengthen the capital markets.

DSE Director Minhaj Mannan said many entrepreneurs have gone on sale without any knowledge, and they have sold government revenue. I will appeal to the Securities and Exchange Commission to take legal action, listing the entrepreneurial directors who have gone on sale without the permission of the authorities.

He added that the share of sponsors will now be marked on the CDBL. If they want to demand beyond the mark, the stock exchange will have to inform it.
